Lindy has more than twenty years of experience teaching piano and music theory. She specialises in teaching advanced students (Grade 5 and above).

Lindy’s approach to teaching piano technique is derived from the real-life experience of playing and performing at a high level over many years. Alongside a deep understanding and appreciation of sound, students build strength and endurance, and develop a wide range of technical tools to apply to issues as they arise.

For many years Lindy taught piano at Trinity School in Croydon (London’s first all-Steinway school) and at Trinity Music Academy, preparing young pianists for Diploma examinations and for music conservatoire entry. Her students have been successful in ABRSM and Trinity College London grade examinations and diplomas.

Lindy’s teaching and coaching studio is in Highland Park, east Auckland. It is a calm, tranquil space, where students can take their time to explore their ideas and understanding of music.

Tuition fees: $42.50 to $95.00 per lesson, depending on lesson duration.
