Lindy Tennent-Brown teaches piano and music theory from her studio in Beckenham Hill, south-east London, and on Saturdays at the Music Academy of Trinity School, Croydon. She has extensive repertoire and technical knowledge, and more than two decades of experience teaching piano and music theory to learners at all levels. Her students have been successful in ABRSM and Trinity College London grade examinations and diplomas.
Lindy holds a Bachelor of Music with Honours (First Class) in solo piano from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Studies in solo piano and a Professional Performance Diploma in accompaniment from the Royal Northern College of Music. She holds a current enhanced DBS certificate, and is fully insured as a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM).
An initial consultation (30 minutes) is free of charge. Thereafter lessons are invoiced in groups of ten, payable in advance, and are priced as follows:
30 minutes – £25
45 minutes – £32
one hour – £40
