Lindy is an experienced and highly accomplished music director, programmer, and coach for cabaret and music theatre. Since 2006 she has played more than twenty keyboard chairs in London’s West End, including keyboard one parts for Annie Get Your Gun, Cats, Chess, Chicago, Ghost, Les Misérables, Love Never Dies, Mary Poppins, Miss Saigon, Oliver!, Shrek, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, and The Wizard of Oz.
In 2018 she was the rehearsal and orchestral pianist for Guys and Dolls at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by James McKeon and directed by Stephen Mear – a production starring Meow Meow, Adrian Lester, Lara Pulver and Jason Manford.
Also in 2018, Lindy made her Edinburgh Fringe Festival début, as music director of Don’t Tell Me Not To Fly, featuring performances by Ria Jones, Danielle Hope, Claire Sweeney, and Janie Dee. She was music director for New York-based cabaret singer, Tori Scott, in her Thirsty residency at The Dairy Room in Edinburgh, and at Brasserie Zédel’s Crazy Coqs cabaret in London.
Lindy has curated cross-genre cabaret evenings for The Young Vic (Brecht-Eisler), the Chelsea Arts Club (cabaret by women), for New Zealand Opera, and The Landmark Hotel, Marylebone (opera and music theatre gala events). She has rehearsed major cast-change periods for several West End shows, including Cats, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Ghost, Les Misérables (25th Anniversary at the O2), Love Never Dies, Oliver!, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and The Wizard of Oz.
Lindy was the assistant music director for Shoes (written by Richard Thomas) for Sadlers Wells in 2010, and played frequently for The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre and on UK-wide tours each Christmas season.
