Opera

Lindy has worked as music staff for The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, English National Opera, Scottish Opera, Glyndebourne Productions, Aldeburgh Productions, and Opera Holland Park, among others. Alongside composer, Dominic Muldowney, and director, John Lloyd-Davies, she worked on the development of new opera for ROH2 (the Royal Opera’s new work development department) 2005-12, leading skills-development workshops with composers and librettists interested in writing opera. Lindy was the founding music director of EXPOSURE, a sold-out contemporary opera scratch-night at the Linbury Studio Theatre, 2010-12.

Lindy has conducted world première seasons by Julian Philips (How the whale became – Linbury Studio Theatre, Royal Opera House 2013), Oscar-winner Anne Dudley (The owl and the pussycat – ROH/Mayor of London’s Secret London Festival 2012), and Evangelia Rigaki (Antimidas – Samuel Beckett Theatre, Trinity College Dublin 2013).
