Piano TUITION

Lindy has more than twenty years of experience teaching piano and music theory. She specialises in teaching advanced students (Grade 5 and above).

Lindy’s approach to teaching piano technique is derived from the real-life experience of sustaining an elite performing career over many years. She fosters a deep understanding and appreciation of sound through musical and technical creativity, and playing with freedom and physical ease.

Lindy has recorded extensively for the ABRSM (accompaniments for Shining Brass in 2011; complete vocal syllabus for Grades 1-5 in 2017) and is well-acquainted with the differing requirements of the main examining boards. Her students are successful in both ABRSM and TCL grade examinations and diplomas, and she has prepared numerous students for conservatoire auditions and entry.

Lindy teaches at her home studio in south-east London.

Licentiate Diploma of Trinity College of London (LTCL) in piano performance, Distinction in Musical Knowledge
